For centuries artists have been using a variety of materials and found objects to express their creativity and capture the attention of their viewing public. Originally inspired by the ancient artists tradition of painting on linen, Elizabeth's line of forty-four Belgian linens began the Mixed Media Collection. Her focus has always been rich color, timeless texture and juxtapositions of interesting surfaces. Mixed Media combines color and texture by coordinating Elizabeth Dow's hand painted wall coverings, grass cloths and textiles.
