For more than 20 years, Altura Furniture has been designing and manufacturing innovative, exquisitely crafted contemporary wood furniture. The company was founded in New York City in 1983. Today it operates in its own state-of-the-art workshop in Portland, Oregon, where the city's creative design culture and appreciation of skilled craft from an ideal climate for Altura's approach to the art of furniture-making.
