alexander tjarko lacquer wares are created by a small group of the most talented and skilled artisans in the world. The workshop is located in one of the most secluded parts of Southeast Asia and has been handed down from generation to generation. Every piece is crafted with the highest quality materials and the most time-honored techniques. All our wares are handmade and up to 30 different people, from artists to wood carvers to engravers can be involved in the production process.
