Description

The Fresco product series is constructed of a unique vinyl composite thickly layered by hand over a burlap ground. Just prior to coloring the dried panel, it is rolled to introduce the characteristics surface cracking and aging. A pair of skilled artisans then applies a ting layer of acrylic stain, manipulating and had-polishing the surface until dry. The textured surface of Glazed Fresco conveys a feeling of ancient stone, and renders an authentic sense of history and stability. Coupled with out intriguing color palette, the waxed-like under-glaze provides a soft glow.
