Description

France, c1830. The brass mounted mahogany writing and games table having a rectangular top inset with an embossed brown leather writing surface lifting to reveal a green felt playing surface within a pierced gallery above a long paneled drawer, raised on fixed tapering cylindrical legs ending in caps on casters. Condition: Excellent; replaced leather and felt insert; typical scattered denting to the original brass mounts.
