Description

England c. 1780. Of very fine and graceful form, the arched back flanked by over-scrolling slightly arched arms, the front rail also slightly bowed, supported on square tapering legs joined by cross stretchers, the legs terminating in brass casters. Condition: Excellent; lacking down cushion and in need of reupholstering; repaired crack to one rear leg, the interior structure original and not altered.
