Description

Exceptional pair of continental carved, gilded and paint decorated demilune console tables with scagliola marble tops with fan and radiating fan design, the aprons ornamented with applied festoons, urns and swags, set on four square tapering legs with molded detail and applied dependent bellflowers, raised on square tapering spade feet. Probably Italian, turn of the century. Proveance: The Wolcott Family, Gloucester, Mass.
