These are a turn of the century monumental pair of oils on canvas of a royal garden, executed in the manner of 18th century master, Hubert Robert. Freely painted scenes of peasants doing their chores, with their children playing around them in a formal garden with fountains and sculpture. The large trees and sky dominate the canvas. The frames are a sage tone with gold trim. The paintings have been cleaned and are in good condition. 77"h x 52"w with Frame.
