A glass hurricane lamp houses an upturned light bulb, ironically converted into an oil lamp, suspended by dipping wires. A functional sculpture created in homage to Thomas Alva Edison's 1879 unveiling of the world's first long-lasting electric lamp, which lasted 13.5 hours.
