Buying Service
The Decorati buying service enables consumers to purchase items from showrooms. The Decorati buying service handles your order process, answers your detailed product questions, and facilitates your visit to see the products in the showroom, if desired.
Quote Request
If you are interested in purchasing a product or learning more about it, you can choose to send a Quote Request. A showroom or a Decorati contact will get back to you shortly with more information about the product, lead times, and the price. For more information, please see the Quote Request Help Section.
Showroom
A design showroom is a physical space, similar to a high-end boutique or gallery, that features products from many different manufacturers. Consumers who wish to visit a design showroom to touch and feel a product can contact the Decorati Buying Service to set up an appointment. Decorati partners with showrooms to insure your purchasing process is a success.

Keywords

Why should I add keywords to my photos?
Keywords enable photos to be found on Decorati. Whether you are a designer interested in growing your business or a manufacturer or showroom and wish to help people find your products, the best way to do this is to upload photos and "tag" them with keyword descriptions.
What are keywords?
Keywords are descriptive words you add to a photo so that it will appear in search results. For example, if you upload a photo with yellow wallpaper, simply tag the image "yellow wallpaper" and it will come up in searches for that phrase. Common keywords include style (e.g., contemporary), room (e.g., living room), type of item (e.g., side table), and color.
How do I upload photos and add keywords to my images?
Visit the "My Account" link at the top of the page and click on the "Profile" tab to upload photos. Once you have uploaded a photo to your portfolio, you can create keywords for it.
How many keywords can I add?
You can add as many as you want, as long as they match the picture content.
How can I remove keywords?
Simply click the [x] symbol next to a keyword to remove it.
Are duplicate keywords allowed?
Duplicate keywords are allowed, although they will not change search results.

ADDING PRODUCT RESOURCE LINKS TO IMAGES

What are product resource links?
Product resource links enable you to identify the resources included in the installation or environmental photo that you have uploaded. For example, if you used a Ted Boerner sofa in a living room, you can upload the living room photo and link it to the Ted Boerner sofa in Decorati's digital database.
How do I upload photos and add product resource links?
Visit the My Account" link at the top of the page and click on the "Profile" tab to upload photos. Once you have uploaded a photo to your portfolio, you can link it to any item in Decorati's database. Simply type in the name of the product you are looking for (e.g., "Ted Boerner sofa") and small images of all Ted Boerner sofas from Decorati's database will appear. Scroll through the list to identify the product you used and click on it to add a product to your photo.
Why should I link products to my photos?
Photos that are linked to individual products will be displayed higher in search results than photos that are not linked.

Quote Requests

What is a quote request?
If you are interested in purchasing a product or learning more about it, you can choose to send a quote request. Simply click on the "Send Quote Request" button when you are viewing an individual product. Next, fill out the form online, include any questions or custom product specifications, and you can choose to send a copy to your sales rep, clients, or co-workers, or simply submit the form and we send it to the showroom manager automatically.
Who will answer my quote request?
Decorati has linked each product to the local showroom that carries it, and the showroom manager receives a notification via email. If you are a designer, a contact at the showroom will get back to you shortly via email with more information about the product, lead times, and the price. If there isn't a local showroom in your area that represents the product you are interested in, simply select "Help me find a showroom," and Decorati will respond to your request with more information on how to purchase the product. If you are not a designer, the Decorati Buying Service will get back to you with next steps, which can vary based on your location and the piece you are interested in.
Where can I see a copy of my quote request?
To view an electronic copy of your quote request, click on the "My Account" link at the upper right hand corner of Decorati. Next click on the tab labeled "Quotes" to view all quotes you have sent.
Why do I need to send a quote request?
Most products on Decorati are made-to-order and can be customized according to your individual specifications. Even though Decorati lists base prices online for some products, you still need to send a quote request about these items to finalize details like desired finish, fabric, and dimensions. Once the showroom has your desired specifications, it can provide you with a detailed product quote and estimated completion date.
Can I simply buy a product on Decorati?
Products in the Antiques & Boutiques, Sample Sale, and Designer Sale categories are already made and available for purchase now. Instead of sending a Quote Request, you can click a link to send the seller a message about the product. Most products listed in our "Collections" need to be custom-made are not available for purchase immediately. You will need to send a quote request to set the order process in motion.
